Take one dark, labyrinthine museum, add an attractive evolutionary biologist (Miller) and a superstitious cop (Sizemore). Mix with a smidgen of mysteriously morphing genetic material. Toss in an ancient South American curse and a few gruesome murders. Garnish with one huge, ferocious, head-chomping creature (courtesy of Winston) and you've got yourself a simple, but fun, horror flick — the kind at which the audience laughs one minute and covers their eyes the next.
