Maybe not a leap, but certainly a step in the right direction. This documentary chronicles the founding of Belfast's Cranmore Integrated Primary School, where Roman Catholics and Protestants sit side by side in an environment free of fear and mistrust. The school was three years in the making, with its principal and driving force, Helen Farrimond, having to recruit volunteers to renovate a run-down building, find an equal number of Catholic and Protestant students and overcome political opposition from bureaucrats and clergy on both sides. A balanced look at the Troubles that offers hope for a situation long mired in turmoil.
