Gershon gets a second chance after the disastrous Showgirls, recovering nicely in this daring, defiant role as butch lesbian Corky, who can work wonders with a monkey wrench. Recalling early Coen brothers, Bound follows two lesbian lovers, Corky and Violet (Tilly), as they plot to steal $2 million from Violet's mobster boyfriend, Ceasar (Pantoliano), and run away together. But there's a hitch: They aren't sure they can trust each other.
