Academy and Emmy Award-winning film and television actress who tirelessly made almost 100 films in the 1930s and 1940s. She also hosted television's Loretta Young Show (1950–60). Her films include A Man's Castle (1933) and The Farmer's Daughter (1947). Died: 8/12/2000
