Hollywood producer and magnate who was the driving force behind Gone With the Wind (1939). After working for Paramount, RKO, and MGM, he formed Selznick International Pictures in 1936. The studio's credits include Rebecca (1940) and Spellbound (1945). He was married to actress Jennifer Jones. Died: 6/22/1965
