Singer, dancer and actress known for her tireless energy and pertness. Her films include Singin' in the Rain (1952), The Affairs of Dobie Gillis (1953), The Tender Trap (1955), Tammy and the Bachelor (1957), The Unsinkable Molly Brown (1964) and Goodbye Charlie (1964). She also starred in the sitcom The Debbie Reynolds Show (1969–70). She occasionally shows up on Will and Grace as Grace Adler's mother. She was married to Eddie Fisher (1955–59), who divorced her to marry Elizabeth Taylor. She and Fisher had a daughter, actress and writer Carrie Fisher.
