Reba McEntire

Born: 3/28/1955
Birthplace: McAlester, Oklahoma

Grammy Award-winning country and western singer who is considered the most popular and successful female performer in the industry. Her recordings include “I Don't Want to Be a One-Night Stand” (1976), “Can't Even Get the Blues” (1982), What Am I Gonna Do About You (1986), and So Good Together (1999). The year 2001 saw Reba diversify into acting in her own WB television series (Reba) and Broadway theater (Annie Get Your Gun). McEntire is also a shrewd businesswoman; she and her husband, Narvel Blackstock, run Starstruck Enterprises, a management company that oversees her career and runs a thorough-bred farm.
