Emmy and Grammy Award-winning actor, comedian and playwright known for his broad physical comedy and nice-guy screen appeal. The self-titled “wild and crazy guy's” films include The Jerk (1979), Roxanne (1987), Father of the Bride (1992), and Bowfinger (1999) with Eddie Murphy. His plays include Picasso at the Lapin Agile (1993) and he has diversified into hardcover fiction with Shopgirl: A Novella (2000).
