Film and stage actress known for her roles as a dizzy sexpot. Her films include The Girl Can't Help It (1956), Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter? (1957) and The Wayward Bus (1957). Her daughter Mariska Hargitay won a Golden Globe in 2005 for her portrayal of Det. Olivia Benson in Law & Order: SVU (1999– ). Died: 6/29/1967
