Grammy Award-winning country-rock singer and songwriter known for her velvety, emotive voice and her socially conscious views. Her recordings include A Truly Western Experience (1984) and Ingénue (1992). Her 2003 collaboration with Tony Bennett netted her her fourth Grammy.
