Rock Hudson

Born: 11/17/1925
Birthplace: Winnetka, Illinois

Film and television actor best remembered as a romantic leading man and for his stunning good looks. His films include A Farewell to Arms (1957) and Pillow Talk (1959). He starred in the television series McMillan and Wife (1971–77). His death from AIDS helped increase public awareness of the disease.

Died: 10/2/1985
