Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and instrumentalist who was one of Motown's most successful recording artists and is remembered for his sensual delivery and collaborations with Tammi Terrell. His recordings include “Ain't No Mountain High Enough” (1967), “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” (1968), and “Sexual Healing” (1982).
