Grammy Award-winning country and western singer known as “the man in black.” From his earliest rockabilly sessions at Memphis's Sun Studios, Cash has had an enduring influence on rock. His recordings include Ballads of the True West (1965), Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison (1967) and American Recordings (1994).
