Emmy Award-winning actress best known for her role as the compassionate mother, doctor and citizen, Jill Brock, on Picket Fences (1991–96). Her movie credits include Edward Scissorhands (1990), Inventing the Abbotts (1997), The Cider House Rules (1999), and Cold Mountain (2003).
