Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971)

Wonka's guided tour through the mysterious Chocolate Factory is as enduring as, well, an Everlasting Gobstopper. From the bratty histrionics of Veruca Salt to the creepy yet sage Oompa-Loompas, the film offers surreal satire for adults and a fantastical allegory for kids.
