Jack Nance

(Marvin John Nance)

Born: 12/21/1943
Birthplace: Boston, Massachusetts

Nance acted in several films directed by David Lynch, most memorably in the lead role of Eraserhead (1976); he also appeared in Blue Velvet (1986), Wild at Heart (1990), and Lost Highway (1997). He played Pete Martell in Lynch's TV series Twin Peaks (1990–91) and also performed in comedies such as Johnny Dangerously (1984). His sudden death may have been a homicide.
