Emmy Award-winning children's television star, who charmed parents and children alike for more than 40 years with her woolly hand puppet Lamb Chop and his sidekicks Charlie Horse and Hush Puppy. During her career, she won 12 Emmys and a Peabody, entertaining and educating children. Lewis also wrote more than 60 children's books. Her television shows included The Charlie Horse Music Pizza and Lamb Chop's Play-Along.
