Arthur Shimkin

Age: 84

producer of children's records who started the Little Golden Records label of Simon & Schuster in the early 1950s and Sesame Street Records in the 1970s. He won a Grammy in 1961 for Peter and the Wolf, played by the New York Philharmonic under Leonard Bernstein. His disco-themed Sesame Street Fever sold at least half a million copies.
