Jack Williamson

writer of countless science fiction novels and short stories whose career spanned almost 80 years. His best-known novel was The Humanoids, a Puritan dystopia written in 1949. In 1976, he became the second writer to be named a Grand Master by the Science Fiction Writers of America.
