Robert Hoffman

Age: 59

former business executive who in 1969 as a student at Harvard and an editor of the Harvard Lampoon cofounded the satirical magazine National Lampoon. He sold his shares of the magazine in 1975 to join his father in business. Hoffman amassed a major collection of contemporary art.

Died: Dallas, Aug. 20, 2006
