Red Buttons

Age: 87

Oscar-winning actor who got his start as a Borscht Belt comedian. In his career, which spanned nearly 70 years, he appeared in 30 films, including They Shoot Horses, Don't They?, The Poseidon Adventure, and Sayonara, for which he won an Oscar, and several television shows, such as The Red Buttons Show and ER.

Died: Los Angeles, July 13, 2006
