Zinédine Zidane,

French soccer star, led his team to the finals in the 2006 World Cup tournament, but was ejected after head-butting Italian defender Marco Materazzi in the chest. Materazzi and Zidane, the captain of the French team, had been exchanging jabs physically and verbally throughout most of the game. Zidane, considered one of the game's greatest players, returned from retirement to help France qualify for the tournament, and was voted its best player.
