Rev. William Sloane Coffin

Age: 81

activist and Presbyterian minister who, while he was chaplain at Yale University, was convicted of conspiracy to encourage draft evasion in the Vietnam War. The verdict was overturned on appeal. Coffin spoke out against the Iraq war and nuclear arms in his later years.
