Yao Wenyuan

Age: 74

radical Maoist who was the last surviving member of the Gang of Four, the group authorized by the Chinese Communist government to institute and uphold extreme measures of the Cultural Revolution. The group, which included Mao's wife Jiang Qing, was tried in 1980 and convicted of persecuting about 700,000 people.
