Sune Bergström

Age: 88

Swedish biochemist who was part of a team of scientists that discovered the structure and use of prostaglandins, compounds that affect blood pressure and body temperature, among other bodily functions. Bergström, along with I. Samuelsson and John R. Vane, won the 1982 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
