Clark Kerr Age: 92
educator who was a professor of industrial relations at Berkeley (1945–1952), when he was named chancellor. He became president of the University of California in 1958. He's credited with building its prestigious system. Gov. Ronald Reagan dismissed him in 1967. Died: El Cerrito, Calif., Dec. 1, 2003
