Same-Sex Partner Households
in U.S. Cities

The following table lists the ten U.S. Cities with the highest number of same-sex partner households. Nationwide, 701,733 same-sex partner households represented 0.6% of all coupled households in 2003, according to the Census Bureau. Of these, 363,072 were male partners and 338,661 were female partners.
