Italian composer who used a variety of devices, including electronic sounds, dramatic spoken word, and mixed media, in his experimental, often sensuous works. His compositions include “Circles” and “Opera.” He founded the Juilliard Ensemble. Died: Rome, Italy, May 27, 2003
