Jim Thompson

CEO of the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), who came out of retirement in January to fill the post left vacant by Carol Anne Letheren, who died in February 2001; accomplished sports broadcasting executive in Canada for more than three decades. He died of a heart attack.
