George Sidney

Age: 85

director of such movie musicals as Ziegfeld Follies, Annie Get Your Gun, and Kiss Me Kate. He also directed Anchors Aweigh, the first film to combine live action and animation, and cofounded the animation house Hanna-Barbera.

Died: Las Vegas, May 5, 2002
