21, college student, admitted to planting 18 pipe bombs in mailboxes in five states. Six people were injured in the attacks. It's not clear what motivated the Wisconsin college student to go on the spree, which took him to Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, and Texas before he was arrested near Reno, Nev., in May.
