Alex Hannum

Age: 78

Hall of Fame basketball coach, who was the first to lead two different teams to NBA titles; won titles with the St. Louis Hawks in 1958 and Philadelphia 76ers in 1967; his teams won the only two NBA titles not won by the Boston Celtics between 1957-69; Philadelphia 76ers team in 1967-68 started 46-4, ended the season with a NBA-record .840 (68-13) winning percentage; guided Oakland Oaks to ABA title in 1978, became the first coach to win titles in both leagues; won 471 NBA games and 178 in the ABA; elected to Basketball Hall of Fame in 1998. The cause of his death was not given.
