John Guedel

Age: 88

prolific television producer of the 1940s and '50s who began his career in radio before turning to TV when it was a nascent medium. Guedel, who had a fondness for the inane, produced such hits as You Bet Your Life, The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, and Art Linkletter's People Are Funny.
