Eric Tipton

star running back and punter at Duke in the mid-1930s; played seven seasons of Major League Baseball with Philadelphia and Cincinnati; assistant football coach at William & Mary and asst. football/baseball coach at Army; inducted into College Football Hall of Fame in 1965. The cause of his death was not given.
