Michele Alboreto Age: 44
Italian Formula One driver who found success on the endurance race circuit; won 1997 Le Mans 24 Hours with the TWR Porsche team; won 2001 12 Hours of Sebring race with Team Audi Sport North America; won three grand prix races and finished second in the F1 driver's championship in 1984; raced in the IRL from 1996-97. He died of injuries sustained in a crash while test driving an Audi. Died: Berlin, Germany, April 25
