Bill Rigney Age: 83first manager of the San Francisco Giants, succeeding Leo Derocher in 1956; won World Series as an infielder with the N.Y. Giants in 1951 and as a coach in 1954; managed the Giants, Angels and Twins in 18 seasons, compiling a 1,239-1,321 record; after a brief stint as a scout he joined the Oakland A's front office in 1982; broadcast A's baseball in 1974 and again from 1983-84.
