John Tobin, Jr.,
Fulbright scholar, returned to the U.S. in August, after being imprisoned in Russia for six months. He was arrested in January on charges of marijuana possession and was later accused of being a spy-in-training. Tobin denied the accusation and said the marijuana charge was a setup. He was in Russia conducting political research at a university in Voronezh.
