Silvio Berlusconi, Italian politician and media magnate, became prime minister of Italy's 59th postwar “revolving door” government after May elections. Berlusconi is one of the richest men in the world. Allegations of corruption and bribery led to several investigations into his business practices, and he is currently under indictment for tax fraud and bribery.
