Casey Martin, disabled professional golfer, won the legal right to use a golf cart during competition. In May the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 7–2 in his favor, rejecting the PGA Tour's claim that using a cart would give him an unfair advantage over golfers who have to walk the course. The ruling ended Martin's four-year battle with the PGA.
