Theodore Gottleib

Age: 94

comedian who performed what he called “stand-up tragedy” as Brother Theodore. His sophisticated, dark comedy focused on life and death. He was imprisoned at Dachau, but bought his freedom with his family's fortune. Gottleib was brought to the United States by Albert Einstein, who was reportedly his mother's lover.
