Adhemar Ferreira da Silva

Age: 73

Olympic triple jump champion in 1952 and 1956, and the only Brazilian athlete to win two Olympic gold medals; awarded the Olympic Merit award by the Brazilian Olympic Committee in 2000. He died of pneumonia.
