Ann Sothern

Age: 92

actress and singer who, despite her range and talent, never achieved superstar status. Instead, she flirted with fame as the star of several banal movies. She starred in the Maisie series of B films (1939–1947) about a tough woman with a heart of gold. Her best role remains 1949's A Letter to Three Wives. She starred in two television series, Private Secretary and The Ann Sothern Show.
