Julius Epstein

Age: 91

prolific screenwriter who earned four Academy Award nominations for his witty, often cynical scripts. With his twin brother, Philip, and Howard Koch, Epstein won an Oscar for penning the screenplay of Casablanca (1943). Other credits include Four Daughters (1938) and Reuben, Reuben (1984).

Died: Los Angeles, Dec. 30, 2000
