Alice Lord Landon

swimming and diving pioneer who was an active contributor to the sport; competed in platform diving at 1920 Olympics; Olympic official 1924-36; led American procession at 1984 Summer Games; carried the torch before the 1996 Games; inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in 1993. The cause of her death was not given.
