Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward and former college standout at St. John's who died in an auto accident after leaving teammate Kevin Garnett's birthday party; played eight seasons in the NBA with Indiana, L.A. Clippers, and Detroit before signing with Minnesota in January 1999; first-round draft pick of Indiana in 1992; second-leading career scorer in St. John's history behind Chris Mullin; owned Malik Sealy XXI Inc., a clothing line; father, Sidney, was a bodyguard for Malcolm X; He died of head and chest injuries sustained in the auto accident.
