Martin Schilling Age: 88
German-born physicist who, during World War II, helped develop the world's first ballistic missile, the V-2, a weapon feared by the Allies. He was resettled in the U.S. after the war and worked as an executive at the Raytheon Co. He died from heart failure. Died: Burlington, Mass., April 30, 2000
