Aeriwentha (Mae) Faggs Starr

Age: 67

Olympic sprinter who participated in three games and won a gold medal as a member of the U.S. women's 400-meter relay team in 1952 Games; competed in London in 1948 as a 16-year-old, won a bronze in 1956; became teacher and administrator in the Cincinnati school system. She died of cancer.
