Michael J. Fox,

actor, announced in Jan. that he planned to leave his hit show, Spin City, after the 1999–2000 season to help find a cure for Parkinson's disease, with which he was diagnosed in 1991. Just days after his announcement, he won his third consecutive Best Actor Golden Globe Award.
