charismatic rapper who weighed in at nearly 700 pounds. Big Pun was known for his rapid-fire rhymes. He classified his style as “sophisticated hard-core.” His Capital Punishment was the first album by a solo Latino rapper to go platinum. He died of complications from obesity.
