Max Patkin

Age: 79

the "Clown Prince of Baseball," whose zany clowning delighted crowds at minor league baseball games for over 50 years; West Philadelphia native and WWII navy veteran; hired to coach by Cleveland owner Bill Veeck who wanted to boost attendance; starred as himself in 1988 film "Bull Durham". He died of an aneurysm.
